Life in Helsinki

Hey, I am back after the longest time possible - Moved into Helsinki on 23'rd & complete one week tommorow. How has it been so far? Nice in some ways & boring in some others. The nice parts that people are nice & courteous & the traffic is so orderly that sometimes ones wishes for some chaos ( just kidding) - Roads are usually less crowded & its nice walking ( speaking of walking, I walk around 2-3kms every day which is a good exercise)
Y is it boring? Almost all websites are in Finnish & while google translator is gud but gets tiring after a while - It doesnt help that one doesnt know too many people around but then I hope that status would change after a couple of months of staying here
The weather - ah the favourite topic of conversation - Weather enjoys the same status as cricket in India - gets talked about all the time & I can see why - For someone who has come from a country which has over abundant sunlight, this weather doesnt make too much of a difference, atleast initially. But then if you have been seeing this since the time you were born, its a whole different ballgame altogether
My next aim is to find like minded people living in Helsinki - Also start spending time on sports & hobbies which ostensibly couldnt be done in India owing to lack of time - Well, now that I have abundant time in my hands, it would be interesting to see how I spend it
Its 7 in the evening & there are very few souls on the road
